AUTHOR DAVID VAHLBERG IN RECOVERY

Recently, I recieved an email concering one of our authors and a fall he took down a flight of stairs. At that time David Vahlberg was in critical condition. We are rejoicing with his family now as he's regained consciousness, but there is still a long journey of rehabilitation ahead for him. You can read about his family and the challenges they faced here, and you can check out his book here.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, David. May you feel our love surrounding you and fight through this like the warrior that you are.

NEW AUTHOR

Excited to announce that Borderline has signed best-selling author John Selby. His book Conscious Capitalists will be coming out this year.

BORDERLINE AUTHOR IN THE NEWS

I nominated Di Baird's book The Old Man Who Talked to the Trees for the Idaho Book of the Year Award. Her picture book isn't only adorable, but educational and based on Idaho state history as well as the renovation of the capitol building. She's been making school appearances and speaking at events like a luncheon for the wives of state representatives. Here she signs copies of her book at the State Capitol Rotunda during the Buy Idaho Presentations. You can read the article in today's Press-Tribune.

COFFEE TALK

I love getting paid to talk to writers about their books. And now that I work in an office, I'm starting to love coffee too. So I'm especially going to love our author appreciation coffee coming up this Friday.

This will also give our authors the chance to network and brainstorm with each other. There's just some things about the lives of writers that only other writers can understand...
